Variety artists, dancers and ball-loving sea lions once performed at Marktgasse 17. Today the Altstadthaus is the stage for our gastronomic ensemble with chef de service and sommelière Ines Triebenbacher, chef de bar Daniele Biondo, and head chef Daniel Zeindlhofer in the leading roles. The interior with its imposing curtains and intimate sofa corners is a reference to the eventful history of this place. And because people have always come to the Niederdorf (historic old town of Zurich) to celebrate, the bar offers not only cocktails and snacks, but also a generously stocked silver champagne cooler with sparkling wines served by the glass.
